H.O.P.E. Project IT Summit
DESCRIPTION
Right now, technology is an important part of half of all jobs. The H.O.P.E. Project IT Summit is designed to make sure that people in urban and low-income communities are prepared. As powerful as the tech industry is today, tomorrow it will be even bigger. Who will hold the many jobs the tech economy is creating? People who are prepared.

Too often they’ve been left out of groundbreaking economic opportunities, especially those 17 to 25 years of age. Women, too. The H.O.P.E. Project has a proven approach to getting members of these communities started in IT careers, and better lives for themselves and their families. Does this sound like you?

The H.O.P.E. Project IT Summit is FREE, and value-packed. You will learn about the variety of opportunities in IT, and a great way to get started in the field; meet and learn from IT pros, including some who started off where you are; learn how to prepare for an IT career, and learn as well as practice skills that can help you get – and succeed at – almost any job. Continental Breakfast and Lunch will be served - also FREE!

Plus, stay for the IT Careers Town Hall right after the summit. Learn from people in the industry who look like you, and have proven that they care about people like you.
